We all woke up early , Petri's flight to Finland was much earlier than mine and Lydia came to the camper to pick him up to drop him off at the airport . That helped us with our time as we had to make our way to Aalen pick up the rest of my stuff and go exchange the camper for Rainers car in another town . It took forever for us to get to Aalen with a breakfast stop at Burger King. Yeah i tend to eat alot of crap when travelling, i have been sick travelling before and i definitely did not like it ! Doing everything possible to keep my stomach happy i tend to gravitate to crap i am used to back home .
Not sure if we said much after Petri left, we were both total zombies. Rainer asked me what did we do to ourselves last night HAHAHA! Rainer, we totally turned ourselves into alcohol sponges !!!! I had to be in Frankfurt for 2 oclock to catch a 5 oclock flight , we arrived in Aalen around 1 oclock . In rough shape we both struggled to get our shit together and get out of there before Rainers dad showed up to inspect the camper which we were trying to constantly fix , and constantly breaking stuff in :) Got out without being scathed and totally avoiding any confrontations we headed to get the car back and drop off the HOCKEY WAGON. That camper was a total disaster zone at times but i will always and forever remember her, she did the trick and made it interesting on the way .
After dropping the Hockey Wagon off we continued on our way to Frankfurt , finally arriving at 3:30 . Much later than i wanted to get there ! There was no line at the Air Canada counter and they did not even bother weighing my equipment ( maybe because i paid for an extra bag ) . Catching my plane on time i had time to reflect on this crazy trip that i just went through. Ups and downs , mostly ups ...i am gonna miss Kackvogel , and i would suggest to anyone that wants to do a hockey trip to go through him! So my trip is almost over i am on the plane and chilling out watching movies when my screen dies out :( , yeah i survived the rest of the flight with my ipod and the flight attendant was nice enough to give all of us with our blank screens a voucher . When arriving at home i registered only to find out that my next trip i book through Air Canada will be a whole 5% cheaper ....i think i will book with Expedia next time, it is cheaper . But i will always fly Air Canada as they are the only ones that carry my equipment for free ! Home sweet home , when is my next trip ?
Planning on a trip with another German team to Hawaii in April , and a possible return to Cortina next year !
