No I didn't go to the casino ;) but I drove by it and figured I would snap a pic on the way out of Regina . Waking up early again to drive is making me a bit crazy and to be honest this is a bit too much for 5 days ... Realistically driving at this time of year should make this a 7 day drive . I am basically killing myself to wake up early every morning to drive until nightfall to get to next destination ... Trust me if this were summer with more sunlight it would still be a 6 day drive but anyways it is what it is and I signed up for it ...
The drive was long and boring driving through the prairies but eventually we hit Alberta and kept wheeling to the mountains which were and are an amazing view ! Eventually we got to Banff which we had to pay $20 to stay the night which is ridiculous but since it's in a national park , yeah it's stupid I am not even gonna justify it ! But it's beautiful ;)
We finally pull into the Inns of Banff park the truck and head out to see the main strip where we both bought some trinkets and then headed to our room to freshen up and go out for dinner . If you didn't know ... Alberta has some of the finest beef in the world so I had to have a steak !!! The Keg is across the road (kinda) so we went over and tasted some yummy beef ... Did I say tasted ? Nah we devoured some big ass steaks and they were delish !!!! Oh yeah ;)
Banff is your typical ski town with rich assholes everywhere but why oh why did we have to end up with some obviously spoiled girls next door ?!?!? Why !!! ... When we checked in we could hear them having a party and I kinda knew what would happen and of course it did . We were hoping they would go out to party but they didn't .... Around 11 pm it got quiet and I fell asleep and around 1:30 am I could hear them fighting over the bathroom (no joke ) so I called the lobby and I guess they had more complaints and had to evict them . They refused to leave and the RCMP was called in ... All I want to do is sleep but this ordeal went on for hours . People from other rooms were yelling at them too it was crazy and these stuck up bitches didn't care one bit to lie and do whatever they could to stay.
Man am I ever pissed because now I can't sleep . I might have slept 2 hours and here's the kicker ... I have to drive 10.5 hours to Whistler any minute now and it's snowing .... Yes you can insert any curse word here (....) words can't explain my joy . Time to get ready to leave ....
